As we prepare to launch the 2025-26 training year next week, we pause to recognize and honor three outstanding young men who have completed their time with our unit and are stepping into exciting new chapters.

PO1 Peterson Soule

Peterson joined us in 2022.

He leaves our program as a model of quiet confidence, discipline, and determination.

Accepted into seven universities, he has chosen to enroll in the ROTC program at Marquette University with hopes of entering the Marine Corps after graduation. Whether he pursues military studies or a double major, there's no doubt he'll bring the same level of excellence that defined his time with us. Outside of the classroom, Soule is a true outdoorsman and skilled tinkerer - splitting his time between music, mountain biking, horseback riding, and working on trucks and tractors. He also excelled in a wide range of sports including swimming, running, tennis, and baseball. We are proud to have watched him grow into a leader and are excited to see what he'll do next.

SA Anthony Roman Anthony joined us in 2023.

He is pursuing higher education. Though quiet about his next steps, we know college is a part of his plan and we're confident he'll continue to demonstrate the integrity and drive he showed as a Sea Cadet. He demonstrated a spirit of helpfulness that leaves a lasting impression on cadets and staff, alike. We wish him all the best as he takes on this next chapter.

PO3 Christopher Lake

Christopher joined us in 2019.

Christopher Lake is hitting the road - literally. After graduating from our unit, he's pursuing his Commercial Driver's License (CDL) and preparing for a career in the transportation industry.

Christopher always brought a strong and practical work ethic and we have no doubt he'll thrive in a hands-on, independent field. We're excited to see where this new path takes him.

Bravo Zulu to our graduates! You've led by example and left your mark. We're proud of who you've become and excited for what lies ahead. Fair winds and following seas!

While our graduates prepare for their new chapters, the rest of our cadets have been hard at work this summer - representing our unit at advanced trainings across the country, giving back to their communities, and gaining valuable skills that they will bring back with them as we kick off the new season. So......what have they been doing this summer, you ask?

As we bid farewell to our graduates and welcome our returning and new cadets, we look forward to launching into a new year of leadership training, service, and adventure!

The 2025 - 2026 season officially begins next week, and we're ready to make it our best one yet!
