Meet the Class of 2024: Nico Genet

I am Nico Genet and I come from palatine Illinois. I’m a freshman in college and during my time in high school I did 4 years of cheer-leading.

Please share your most memorable training

My most memorable training would probably be NSWOC, seal. This is the hardest most challenging training I’ve been too. I applied for this training to push myself and to be the best I can be. The training itself was the number one challenge there. You are pushed to your mental and physical limit at all times. While it was an incredibly difficult experience it is 100% worth it knowing you completed something very few could.

Where to next?

After my graduation in sea cadets I plan to transfer out of community college into university of Arizona and commission into the navy under a NROTC scholarship.

5 things you probably don't know about PO1 Genet

  1. I graduated high school a semester early

  2. I’m a Blacksmith by Hobby

  3. I’m a big DND nerd

  4. I speak German

  5. I could be a sophomore in college by winter.
