Ms. Lorraine's 101 birthday and the Heroes Haven Farm Pumpkin Fest

On October 23rd, 2021 Naval Sea Cadet 9-1-1 Division attended WWII Veteran Ms. Lorraine's 101 birthday and the Heroes Haven Farm Pumpkin Fest organized by the Midwest Veterans Closet. .

Ms Lorraine was excited to meet old and new friends.

Our unit helped with the setup of the event. We also provided a color guard detail for the event.

Many thanks to our engaged elected officials, Terry Waddell-Moenter for Ms. Lorraine's beautiful cake, Highland Park High School students, Costco Wholesale- Mettawa, Valley of Chicago - Scottish Rite - Northern Masonic Jurisdiction, Kids Rank, Samantha and Madeline Boroski Vernon Hills High School and so many more volunteers who made this a success.
