January 2023 Drill
January drill was the final drill of our aviation quarter and included many exciting activities. SN Proa and SN Davis-Wooten lead presentations on the topics of: the "Plot Drone Program" as well as “Aviation and Weather." League cadets worked on assembling a wooden biplane on Saturday. December 2022 Drill
In this last drill of 2022, our unit continued to learn about Aviation. It was also our first full drill back at the Great Lake Naval Base since February 2020. Sea Cadets learned the Basics of Aviation and practiced using plotters and maps. League cadets learned everything there was to know about paper airplanes - different types to make them faster or stay in the air longer. November 2022 Dril
November was the first drill of the Aviation Quarter. In the morning, the unit hosted the final PRT make-up for anyone who hasn’t yet passed the required physical readiness test. Heroes Haven Farm Community Event
On October 22, US Naval Sea Cadet attended Heroes Haven Farm Community Event organized by the Midwest Veteran's Closet to support Military Families The unit attended the event and helped to clean up after the activities were over. Midwest Veterans Closet is a non-profit organization where EVERYDAY is Veterans Day because active-duty service members, Veterans, and families shop FREE!

Waukegan Harbor & Marina Clean up
On October 22, 2022 USNSCC 9-1-1 DIvision attended the Waukegan Harbor & Marina Clean up organized by the Double Action Dive Charters and supported by the Waukegan Fire Department. Navy Mile 2022
On Sunday, October 16, cadets of the USNSCC 9-1-1 Division participated in the annual Navy Mile run. The local run was a part of the Nationwide event hosted by The Navy Mile on Pennsylvania Avenue and sponsored by the National Capital Council of the Navy League. Special Olympics Volunteer Event
On October 2, 2022 USNSCC 9-1-1 Division cadets volunteered in the Special Olympics. Special Olympics Illinois hosted their Region B Bocce at the McHenry West High School Bocce is an ancient sport invented during the Roman Empire. Village of Berkley Community Event
On August 7-8, 2022 the Division 9-1-1 of USNSCC met at the Village of Berkley square for their 2nd annual America’s Military When Duty Calls event. This FREE event included a morning parade, a cannon and firearm presentation as well as a variety of local business, youth group, historical organizations, and military forces tents. 9-1-1 Division took place the parade and hosted an education/recruitment event at the square.

114th Lake Forrest Day Celebration Parade
On August 3rd of 2022, USNSCC 9-1-1 Division attended the 114th Lake Forest Day celebration Parade. Sponsored by American Legion McKinlock Post 264, Lake Forest Day celebrates our community and patriotism with a parade, carnival, music, games, fun for the kids and a raffle. The event also includes a carnival, 5K & Fun Run, and Raffle Tickets. The parade took place at 10 AM and 9-1-1 Division had a color guard team, two cadets carrying the banner as well as a marching group.

September Drill 2022
In September, Division 9-1-1 met for the drill at the NTAG building in Great Lakes. First Drill of the season, we were excited to welcome cadets back and hear all about their summer adventures. On Saturday, cadets covered bi-annual Sexual Harassment/ Fraternization/ Hazing training. Joint Honor Guard with the VFW at the Jefferson Speedway in Cambridge, WI
May 28, 2022 Nine One One Division Color Guard performed a Joint Honor Guard with the local VFW at the Jefferson Speedway in Cambridge, WI, for the ARCA Midwest Tour Salute to The Troops 100. This was SA-T David-Wooten’s first color guard event. May 2022: Graduation Ceremony
May drill was about the preparation for the summer training and graduation ceremony. March 2022 Drill: Annual Inspection
During the March drill on Saturday, our unit welcomed a group of new recruits and visitors. 11 new recruits and visitors were present at the drill.
